"Amazing location, amazing cottages and wonderful hosts, Steve and Katie have nailed the whole home from home experience, whilst adding the luxury and sophistication that adds to a totally relaxed experience. I would recommend anyone a stay here, I could not fault one thing about the whole weekend."
"Wow! What a fabulous cottage. We have just returned from an amazing holiday at Cartshed Cottages where we spent 3 nights staying at Sky. The cottage itself manages to encompass a cosy feeling with log fires, soft furnishings, large shabby chic dining table with all the beautiful touches of an exquisitely interior designed home. It is spacious and elegant and perfectly placed for exploring Norfolk. The owners Steve & Katie did everything to make our stay really special. We will definitely be visiting again."
"So much thought has gone into the interior decor of the cottages. Our cottage was beautiful, incredibly relaxing and tranquil. It was so lovely to be able to take our dog with us and still stay in such a lovely cottage. The location is great, lots of walks, close to the beach and to Holt. Katie and Steve were great hosts, very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed but also left us to our own devices. We stayed just three nights but came back feeling rejuvenated and revived! The area definitely seems to have become more ‘foodie’ - lots of great pubs close by and a fab deli/ farm shop just minutes by car down the road."
"A beautiful place to stay in stunning countryside, just a few miles from the coast and the pretty town of Holt, well designed and very comfortable. We stayed in Samphire which was decorated in Farrow and Ball earth tones with roll top bath, powerful shower and had everything we needed. Steve and Katie were very friendly and on hand but were not intrusive in the slightest. Highly recommended."
"The cottages are a beautiful place to spend a weekend. In fact, on a cold February weekend we almost didn't want to leave the roaring log burning stove behind but once we did, the wonderful recommendations for food left by Steve and Katie made it well worth wrapping up. The recommendations ranged from old fashioned fish and chips, to Deli's and to top-end gastro pubs. All were fantastic."
"This was our first visit to the Cartshed Cottages but it certainly won't be our last. One of the most beautiful places we've stayed, the cottages are finished to such a high standard by a couple who really care about the experience of the people who stay in their cottages."
"I was instantly smitten. Lush green fields and trees in blossom, so peaceful. The living room is so cosy with its open log fires, canoodle friendly armchairs and upstairs has the most comfy beds all with crisp linen and fresh towels. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind. Great family time creating memories in a stunning place, what more could you want. Steve and Kate have worked so hard creating this special little haven, we will be back!"
"A delightful week in Shell Cottage. The night sky outside the cottage is breathtaking, the stunning beaches at Holkam Bay, seal-watching on Blakeney Point, annual country fair at Holkham Hall and lots of great seafood/pub food/real ale. This is a lovely and friendly part of the world and Cartshed is a great base."
"Having enjoyed our stay so much there the first time that we chose to return for our mini-moon. Seal was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable and made for a perfect romantic getaway. This is one of those rare rentals, that on walking in you immediately wish you owned the place and it was definitely a wrench to leave."
"Just had a fantastic late summer weekend in Norfolk, staying at Seal Cottage. What a find! It was quiet and peaceful, which we were looking for after a busy few months. Seal is beautifully decorated and large for a 2-person cottage. The bedroom is huge, complete with roll-top bath and four-poster bed– luxury! Katie and Steve were fantastic hosts, providing a great written guide to area highlights. We hope to be back!"
"What a fantastic place to stay. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in the UK and would highly recommend it. It is the perfect base for which to explore the best parts of the Norfolk coast - although you may find it hard to leave the amazing cottages... 10/10."
"We cannot recommend Cartshed Cottages at Sharrington Hall highly enough - they are a cut above many other holiday cottages in the UK. The accommodation is top notch. The design is beautiful, decor finished to a very high standard and all in all make for a very comfortable and luxurious stay. Often holiday cottages feel like you're staying in someone else's house, but whilst Cartshed Cottages are homely, the accommodation is more like being in a boutique hotel."
"Cartshed Cottages are a real gem of a place to stay and a perfect location for exploring the north Norfolk countryside. The cottage was cosy, peaceful, beautifully decorated and we did not want to leave! We even had breakfast one morning on the sheltered east facing private terrace (and it was late March!) We will certainly be returning. Steve and Katie provided excellent information about the area including places to visit, eat and what to watch out for - we took our fold up bikes and had a great time cycling around the quite lanes through beautiful villages."
"Seal cottage is chic, comfortable and calm and perfect for couples. Beautiful interiors are serene and truly reflect Norfolk wildlife and scenery. A large comfortable bed, roll top bath, drench shower, high ceilings and double aspect windows make the upstairs a haven for long baths and equally long lie ins. We haven't relaxed so well for a long time. A perfect bolthole to escape everyday life and to explore the natural and foodie delights of north Norfolk. Go now!"
